To our valued patients and friends:

As we continue to navigate the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the safety and well-being of our community, our patients and our team members remains our highest priority.

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the Federal Chiropractic Licensing Board, and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association's assessments, Next Level will remain OPEN for all new and existing patients during this difficult time.

For those that are currently under care at Next Level or who experience new onset of musculoskeletal pain, Next Level is here to help. We will be here to triage, evaluate and treat, helping to ease the burden on hospitals and emergency medical facilities.

In light of all of the above, we have developed a plan to ensure the safety and well-being of our Next Level patients and staff.

As health care providers, we always follow CDC guidelines for cleanliness and infection control, but we will be instituting additional protocols to further ensure your safety and the safety of our team:

If you are unwell, kindly stay home
If you, or anyone in your household, have any symptoms, fever, or cough, please call to reschedule to a more convenient time when you are feeling well. Likewise, if you have traveled to an area with known exposures, please reschedule for a later date.

Phone Screening
When scheduling an appointment, you will be asked a series of questions to address any known issues linked to the spread of COVID-19. Any patient who is identified in the phone screen to be at-risk, will be required to wait a minimum of 14 days before scheduling or rescheduling.

Expanded Waiting Area(s)
We will no longer request that all patients await their appointment time in the communal waiting area near the reception desk. We have allocated additional space to be utilized as isolated waiting areas.  Alternatively, you are welcome to check-in, then wait for your appointment in the comfort of your car – we will gladly call you to inform you when you are ready to be seen.

Social Distancing
In an attempt to keep people 6 feet apart, we are limiting the number of patients scheduled at the same time. As such, we may ask you to move your appointment time slightly in order to spread out patient appointments and ensure there are no more than ten people present at any given time.

Additionally, we request that you please limit the number of people attending an appointment to the patient only (or patient + parent, if applicable). Please refrain from bringing additional adults or children at this time.

NOTE: The largest concern surrounding COVID-19 is our hospitals and emergency medical facilities being overloaded with patients in need of care pushing them beyond capacity. In an attempt to ensure there is space for all those in need, most "elective" surgical procedures have been postponed including things like cervical and lumbar disc surgeries, rotator cuff repairs and joint replacements. These patients will be forced to endure pain, discomfort, lack of sleep, and the risk of their condition worsening which may require them to enter the hospital system for emergency care further limiting open capacity. It is our job, along with our colleagues in the community, to provide an outlet for these patients to be evaluated, treated and kept healthy until they can receive their procedures.  Next Level is here for you and for the Pittsburgh community at large.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments who are on the front line working to contain the coronavirus. Please know that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to make decisions with your health and wellness in mind.

Our patients continue to be our top priority and our team is working tirelessly & taking every precaution to make sure that when you are in need of treatment, Next Level is here for you.
